This is another interesting subject that I will try to post on the website. There are a lot of portable applications avaliable at the moment. There are a lot of advantages having portable applications, I'll try to enumarate the most attractive in my opinion: - Run the application without install it
- Use the application directly from a USB stick (pendrive)
I began with portable applications a few months. There are some interesting sites where you can find a lot of portable applications and information on how to create your own portable applications. |

Most of IT staff already has problems with the PCs and after some research had to format and reinstall the PC. I recently had the same situation with my daughter PC. After almost 1 week trying to fix the problem (blue screen during Windows XP boot), I was getting motivated to resintall the PC. For my luck, I commented with one of my colleagues at work about the problem. He suggested to boot the PC using BartPE or something similar and run the CHKDSK command. |
